Istanbul, November 7, 2026 — Galatasaray secured a victory over Amed Sportif Faaliyetler in the 11th matchday of the Trendyol Süper Lig, extending their impressive home form to a historic 41-match unbeaten streak.

The match concluded with a 4-3 win for the home side, allowing Galatasaray to maintain their position at the top of the league table. With this result, the team reached 28 points, having recorded nine wins, one draw, and one loss in the current season. The win marked their ninth victory of the campaign, including five consecutive wins in the league.

This achievement is particularly significant as it equals the club’s previous record for the longest home unbeaten run in Süper Lig history. The previous record was set between the 2016-2017 and 2019-2020 seasons, spanning 41 matches that included 33 wins and 8 draws. Notably, the record-breaking streak that was equalled this week was ended by the current Galatasaray head coach, Okan Buruk, when he was managing İstanbul Başakşehir.

Galatasaray’s current form has been consistent across competitions despite the high-pressure schedule. In the 29-day period between international breaks, the team played eight matches, emerging victorious in seven of them. The sole defeat in this stretch occurred in the UEFA Champions League against Barcelona, where Galatasaray lost 1-4 at home.

The recent schedule included wins against Kasımpaşa, Gençlerbirliği, Lille, Fenerbahçe, Konyaspor, and Stuttgart, sandwiched between the loss to Barcelona and the latest triumph over Amed Sportif Faaliyetler. The club now enters the next international break as league leaders, with the next scheduled home match potentially offering the chance to surpass the 41-match landmark entirely.
