Jeddah to Host 6th International Hajj Conference and Exhibition under King Salman’s Patronage

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with the Service of Guests of the Mercy programme, will hold the sixth International Hajj Conference and Exhibition from 8 to 11 November (28‑1 Jumada al‑Ula to Jumada al‑Akirah) at the Jeddah Superdome. The event is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and follows the theme “From Mecca to the World.”

The four‑day exhibition will span more than 67,000 square metres and feature participation from over 520 entities—including government agencies, private companies and non‑profit organisations—representing more than 150 nations. Organisers expect a dense programme of networking, business matchmaking and knowledge‑sharing activities across 15 distinct zones that cover operational, technical, commercial, innovative and training dimensions of the Hajj experience.

The conference programme is divided into three primary tracks: (1) Infrastructure and Operational Services, (2) Empowerment and Integration, and (3) Development and Sustainability. Sessions will address critical topics such as transportation and logistics, facility management, accommodation and hospitality, catering, security and safety, health care, media and communications, digital technology, innovation, and capacity‑building for staff serving pilgrims.

A total of 32 sessions will be delivered by 42 speakers, offering both practical case studies and research‑oriented discussions on transport, catering, technology, health services, housing, sustainability, media, crowd management and experience‑enhancement. For the first time, the conference will host a dedicated “Awareness and Training Forum” under the slogan “From Awareness to Empowerment,” featuring specialised workshops and hands‑on training aimed at improving the competence of personnel involved in pilgrim services.

Innovation will be showcased through a dedicated Innovation Zone, a “Future of Hajj Innovations” camp, a Technology Oasis and an Innovation Exhibition. A Business Center will provide meeting spaces for contract negotiations and partnership signings, while specialised pavilions will focus on aviation, health, technology, media, the “Made in Saudi” initiative and a partner platform.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has invited interested parties to register for the conference and view the full programme on its official website (https://hajjconfex.com/visitor-registration). Organisers highlight that the event serves as an early‑stage platform for preparing the 1448 AH Hajj season, allowing service providers and authorities to finalise procedures, contracts and operational plans, and to explore new solutions that will improve the overall pilgrim experience.

By gathering a broad cross‑section of the global Hajj ecosystem, the sixth edition of the conference aims to reinforce Saudi Arabia’s commitment to excellence in pilgrim services, support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives, and strengthen international cooperation in the management of the world’s largest annual religious gathering.
